Oflaquin Suspension Syrup is a broad-spectrum antibiotic formulated for the treatment of bacterial infections in children and adults. It contains Ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic known for its efficacy in targeting a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. This suspension is ideal for treating respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and gastrointestinal infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. Composition:

• Ofloxacin 100mg per 5ml

Mechanism of Action:

• Ofloxacin works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes essential for bacterial DNA replication and transcription. This inhibition results in the disruption of bacterial cell division and eventually leads to bacterial death.
