Description:
Oflaquin-OZ Tablets offer a potent combination of Ofloxacin and Ornidazole, formulated to effectively treat mixed bacterial and protozoal infections. Ofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic, works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication, while Ornidazole is a nitroimidazole class antiprotozoal that combats anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. Composition:

• Ofloxacin 200mg

• Ornidazole 500mg

Mechanism of Action:

• Ofloxacin: Inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase, preventing DNA replication and transcription, leading to bacterial cell death.

• Ornidazole: Disrupts the DNA of protozoa and anaerobic bacteria, inhibiting nucleic acid synthesis and causing cell death.
